Quick answers
Short answers about choosing a New Age caravan - terrain, tow weight, layouts and buying.
On-road caravans are built for sealed highways and well-maintained roads. Semi off-road caravans add tougher suspension, chassis protection and clearance for formed gravel and dirt tracks. Full off-road caravans are built for corrugations, remote tracks and touring well off the beaten path. Choose by where you'll actually spend most of your time.
New Age builds a full range of Australian-made caravans, motorhomes and campervans, spanning on-road tourers, semi off-road and full off-road caravans. The current range covers 10 models across 36+ floorplans. Use the filters above to narrow by terrain, layout, tow weight and budget.
Yes. New Age is an Australian, family-owned manufacturer, and its caravans, motorhomes and campervans are designed and built in Australia for Australian conditions.
The New Age range starts from $74,490 excluding on-road costs, with pricing rising by model, layout and options chosen. Motorhome and campervan figures are quoted on GVM rather than ATM. These are indicative starting prices, so confirm current pricing and inclusions with your nearest dealer.
Which New Age caravan is right for me?
Start with where you'll travel and who's coming along. The range spans on-road tourers, semi off-road and full off-road caravans, plus motorhomes and campervans. Use the filters to sort by terrain, layout, sleeping capacity, tow weight and budget, then compare your shortlist and talk it through with a dealer.
It depends on your vehicle's braked towing capacity and the caravan's ATM, the aggregate trailer mass, which is the maximum the fully loaded van may weigh. Filter by tow weight to see models within your limit, check each model's ATM on its page, and confirm loaded weights at a licensed weighbridge before towing.
caravan is towed behind your vehicle and unhitched at camp. A campervan is a compact, self-contained van you drive and sleep in. A motorhome is a larger drive-and-live-in build with more living space. New Age makes all three, so you can match the format to how you like to travel.
